Service scope
URLCodec transforms one bounded scalar component using the stated RFC 3986 or HTML form profile. It does not parse complete URLs, validate destinations, sanitize content, encrypt data or verify protocol suitability.
Local input and analytics
Entered and transformed text stays in the isolated no-network capsule. Optional analytics contains only fixed action names, profile, direction, stable error codes, coarse size buckets and a trace-truncated flag.
Independent verification
Verify important output against the exact receiving protocol. Percent-encoding is contextual and is not encryption, authentication, sanitization or proof that a destination is safe.
